ZXT 2,401 #2 Posted June 25, 2019 Looks like a C195 to me but I could certainly be wrong. Can you locate the serial tag anywhere on the dash frame, either on the sides or under the hood somewhere? I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in soon giving the exact location of the tag.
Sparky-(Admin) 23,319 #3 Posted June 25, 2019 I’m seeing a C-175/ 8 speed. To really narrow it down look under the dash in front of the shift levers and see if the model and serial number tag is still there. Looks like a Sears plow was made to fit.
953 nut 60,391 #4 Posted June 25, 2019 I agree with Mike, C-175 with a few optional extras added by previous owners. You should find a proper air cleaner for the carburetor to protect your engine. Not sure of the year, but this manual will probably be helpful.

oliver2-44 10,783 #7 Posted June 25, 2019 @Sparky I've yet to see a C-175 or C-195 down here to Texas. I know both have twin cylinder kohlers. So to help me learn the little or big differences what do you see in the pictures that leans you to saying its a C-175.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,528 #8 Posted June 25, 2019 The C-175 Twin has 8-speed with manual lift or hydro transmission with hydraulic lift. Electric lift for the 8-speed's was optional. The C-195 Twin is hydro only with hydraulic lift. Garry
Sparky-(Admin) 23,319 #9 Posted June 25, 2019 @oliver2-44 ...what Garry said above about the C195, it was only offered with a hydro tranny and hydraulic lift, also the C-195 had 15" rear rims and the one in the pics had just the standard 12" rims that 98% of all garden tractors have.
