snowhound 106 #1 Posted May 4, 2019 I recently picked up a pair of 23x10.50x12 Deestone Bar tread tires what width rim should I be mounting them on?
dells68 7,499 #2 Posted May 4, 2019 8.5” is probably best, but I’ve mounted some on 7.5” wide rims with no problem - they just bulge a little more and the lugs may not lay as flat.
JAinVA 4,638 #3 Posted May 4, 2019 (edited) They can be mounted on the 7.5" width rim.I bought a set of Carlisles that size that were mounted on 7.5" rims but they looked wrong.I mounted them on 8.5" 520 rims and they look great. pfrederi 18,721 #4 Posted May 4, 2019 Deestones run small so you could get away with 7.5"

WVHillbilly520H 10,376 #9 Posted May 4, 2019 I did the same with my 315-8 Nanco/Deestone 23x10.50-12 on 7.5" rims...
snowhound 106 #10 Posted May 4, 2019 Thanks for all of the replies I'll use the 7.5" rims that I already have and since I have two extra sets of 7.5" rims I'll order another pair of tires.
