I just got a Wheel Horse Toro 4160 H given to me. It has been sitting so it has all the corrosion issues. So far i've found it has no juice to anything with fully charged battery. The fuse box below battery has a melted spot and corrosion so I'm going to start there. I have one located on Ebay for around $15.00. I also noticed the brake pedal is stuck. I pulled the dipstick from under the seat for hydraulics it's bone dry. I also noticed the lever for hydro lift moves freely like it isn't attatched to anything. The tractor came with 42 inch mower, snow blower, and cab. but no tire chains or wheel weights. If I can get the electrical demons sorted out I would like to restore this tractor. Is their parts available for this tractor like decals? the black tread on running boards? The seat is torn and noticed under the foam the saftey switch is all rusty as well as the surface it sets on. I bet this is what initially brought the horse down and then it just sat corroding. Any advice on this would be apreciated in advance . mark.

Oh and.....

Your 416-H should have the Eaton 1100 hydro transmission, on the bottom of the tranny just forward of the rear hitch you will find the drain plug,use an allen wrench to remove plug to drain if any, reinstall   plug and fill, approx 5 quarts ,don't forget to install a new hydro filter. You may have to remove a few covers and do some investigative work to make sure all your hydro linkages and lever.. is still connected. Some of the rubber footrest pads are still available through Toro.  Good luck and WELCOME TO REDSQUARE.

Oh and.....

I will take some pics today. I ordered the fuse block, seat switch,  and a new ignition switch today. Found a good seat, and Decals but going to hold out on that stuff till after it runs.

Thank you for input. I hope their isnt anything wrong with transmission to be so low on fluid their isn't any  on the stick. going to drain it today. It pushes easy with just a clicking sound. I read on one of these forums it should push hard.

I rescued one a couple years ago that hadn't run for a couple years and it moved very easily. Once I got it running the hydro appears to work properly. I believe after these machines set without running for a while they get easier to push until they have been run again.
