Recently brought a 854 back to my herd and i'm trying to figure out a couple things. On the metal cover on the left side of the frame by the gear shifter is a metal plate where the parking brake lever is, there is a metal plate riveted on the cover with this model no. RM 324 & Sn. 122336 plus it says Wheel Horse Products Inc. South Bend Indiana USA. Then on the tank tower there is a silver & black decal with the shift pattern and a Serial No. 45955, and on the top of the gas tank is another black & silver decal with the shift pattern on it. If the Sn. No. 45955 on the tank stand is correct what is the other Sn. is for. Could the other model and serial no. be for the mower deck, which is a 32" gear drive rear discharge. Any help would be great.

RM-324 is the correct mower deck for the 854. Curious as to why the PO had riveted it there. Well at least he didn't lose it.
