ebinmaine 73,030 #1 Posted February 24, 2019 I've been toying around with what to use for an exhaust brace on the cinnamon horse. I kind of like the idea of using tubing instead of flat stock. I thought I had remembered seeing a pic or two showing someone had done that in the past but I can't find it. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Pullstart 67,093 #2 Posted February 24, 2019 Eric I used 1/8” x 1” ish strap for Frank. Instead of welding, I’m sure you could use a U-bolt. page 13 for Frank, page 1 for Putt Putt. Down a ways on the post of Putt Putt’s rebuild you can see the brace for the Cherry Bomb exhaust too. It is also welded, but is supported from the same area of the engine block.
ebinmaine 73,030 #3 Posted February 24, 2019 @pullstart That's pretty much what I did for now. I hope it'll be rugged enough.
