Schematics of the GT-14  1969 and thru 1972 all have the FINS UP...  but these schematics are the same as the Charger and other Hydro-gear units.of that vintage.

I can only suggest that you query another member with a GT-14 and have him post a pic...or at least tell you fins up or down.  I can only add further that the 90-2062 I rebuilt a few years ago had fins UP.   but I don't recall what tractor the unit was in...

90-2062 is gt14 only, if you did seals on trunnion shaft with out spacer and snap ring that  could be the difference.

Cam block installed, and ser# tag, sandblasting pulley and fan. Fan needs some tweeking

Hay you guys were right.  Fins up, talked to Tim at LJ power, figured out I put spacer then snap ring on trunnion shaft, supposed to be snap ring then spacer. Any way all good.

Moving on,  built a hub puller for four hole hubs, pulled right off no heat.

That is a good looking puller, pushing it off from the back rather than pulling on the flange is great.     :notworthy:

First take the hub off, :ROTF:

Had two round plates, drilled 1 3/8 hole cut in half, drill and tapered,

Not pretty but it works,  might want to get grade 5 or 8  threaded rod, this seems to be the weakest point.

Didn't think of making it a duel puller, 4 and 5 hole, but still could be done. PPP on my part , don't have a 5 lug hub tractor, if I made one I'd have to get one.

Ps bathroom is still not done

Ingenious puller!!! After fighting a GT 14 hub for several days a couple of years ago, I can really appreciate the thought and skill that went into making the one you did to solve your hub problem.

Kudos!!!

I applies all the pressure utilized right where it is need, on the axle surface, and no where else.

A pro welder could mig-weld the parking pawl....it should look like this  For the GT-14, it is part # 5966

The cracked diff end caps are Part # 7200.  Again...a GOOD welder MAY be able to Mig these....

The pressed in Axle Bearings is # 8048

The fall-apart bearingis # 1532.

You could check here for parts...https://www.psep1.biz/arinet.asp?aribrand=TO#

The schematics of this Excel SS are a little fuzzy but I think you MAY be able to use this to assist repair of the Transaxle.

The Sundstrand 90-2062 Hydrogear is here too....

Hope this helps.

Parts MAY be available here...

Kneedeep in a bathroom reno myself. Had the tub sitting on my back porch waiting till I got my tile and some other projects done. Opened it finally and the box was mislabeled. Wrong tub. 40 mile round trip back to the store. Now I am shopping for another tub. Then find out that my surround for mounting it is 1/2-3/4” too wide. It was made for the shower enclosure that was in there. So now I have to build out the backwall to mate up to the tub flange. One thing after another. Rather be working on a tractor
