mcwh1950 2 #3 Posted March 26, 2009 hope this help you porkchop. v belt belt for all 3 spindles is p/n 6738 for a wheel horse belt 86"long by 1/2 width. gates p/n 6886 napa p/n 4l86ow v belt for the mule drive is p/n 102742 wheel horse 103.1/4 long by 1/2width or.5 toro 103" long by 1/2 width or . 5 gates p/n 6378 napa p/n 6375 my deck only have two belt on it. if the other belt you're taking about is the belt for the trans drive. it's p/n 108501 what is p/n 1154 for. 81.5 long by .625 width gates p/n 6982 napa p/n 5l82ow this is a picture if the other part of the deck, Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
past7971 0 #4 Posted March 26, 2009 Hey Smitty & Porkchop--I was looking at Smitty's post and a couple things caught my eye. The cooling fan on the drive belt pulley. I dont think thats correct for a 8-speed in 312 and/or is that diagram for hydro? Also the deck diagram appear to be a 48" deck because of brace and "square" belt covers. For what its worth Smitty, I used model 21-12K801 for a 1985 312-8 and model 05-42MS02 for the deck and got same info. I think the Master Parts Viewer might be wrong---Anyone else know for sure??? porkchop 1 #5 Posted March 26, 2009 Thanks I got the deck repainted, blades sharpened and put back on.I mowed with it today using old belts and will purchase new on pay day.I,m going to need new blades also.
