Fuel pump question

  Guys...I screwed up, took apart this fuel pump last week and just now geting back to it. Can’t remember which way the two small parts go in that my screwdriver is pointing at.

  Should have taken a pic or two:eusa-think:

  I reached out to John ( @wallfish ) and he set me straight. They go in opposite and are check valves, fuel is incoming thru the right side of my pic, leaves the fuel pump thru the left side with the 90 degree fitting. Learned something today.. thanks John!!

:confusion-confused:              If you put them in backwards the inlet becomes the outlet and the outlet becomes the inlet.          :think:
