WildmanC120 613 #1 Posted December 1, 2018 What is the hole size in the wheel for the valve stem? I would just measure mine but they are at the powder coater and I would like to order them in the mean time. Thanks
953 nut 51,677 #2 Posted December 1, 2018 There are two common sizes and it could be either one, just go to Walmart and buy a pair of each size and return the ones you con't need. 1
Lee1977 6,217 #3 Posted December 1, 2018 I would get the small ones. The only time I have every see the large one was on the wheels of a !964 Ford pickup that we had. 1
oliver2-44 8,852 #4 Posted December 2, 2018 I know the older RJ and Suburban vintage tractors had larger holes in he front wheels, so I would suspect that vintage 7x12 rears also had a larger hole. my tire shop had some great looking chrome valve stems that fit in the larger holes for just a few bills more than the 79 cents undersize black ones.
