What is the hole size in the wheel for the valve stem?  I would just measure mine but they are at the powder coater and I would like to order them in the mean time. Thanks

There are two common sizes and it could be either one, just go to Walmart and buy a pair of each size and return the ones you con't need.

I would get the small ones. The only time I have every see the large one was on the wheels of a !964 Ford pickup that we had.

I know the older RJ and Suburban vintage tractors had larger holes in he front wheels, so I would suspect that vintage 7x12 rears also had a larger hole.  my tire shop had some great looking chrome valve stems that fit in the larger holes for just a few bills more than the  79 cents undersize black ones.
