If you’ve got the hood, what’s keeping you from making that a runner?

That looks like it's a restoration project, not a parts machine.

the 552 is in better shape metal wise (besides the hood from 552 lol) this tractor is rough in places heck someone welded jackshaft inside of dashtower where it will never come apart lol.someone also attempted to fix the transplate but did a bad job. now the 552 looks rough but its rust is surface rust. someone oiled the 552 down years ago before they let it sit which probably preserved it. this one here has pits here and there. next year i hope that 552 will be repainted and decaled has a 702.

Digging around in parts I found 5 used coils to try. Now here's a question. Is it bad to used john Deere parts on a horse Lol. Found a coil painted jd green lol and choke cable holder john Deere green.

This one of many reasons. This trans plate is junk. Last time I attempted one this bad was on my 701 and it broke again (reason I changed its frame) there's other reasons too steering welded where it shouldn't be jackshaft welded up where you can't get it apart. Guys u can't save them all
