You can go to Tractor Supply or any good auto parts store and pick up an all purpose throttle cable and repair the one you have. The spiral sleeve of the cable assembly screws into the lever mechanism as can be seen in this photo of an old one I have. The tan substance is a little Loctite they used at the factory to be sure it would stay in place, you could use some silicone sealer if you don't have the Loctite. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
