Worn Attach-O-Matic plates

Has anyone needed to replace side plates and mower shaft yet ?????

Mine are badly worn and wondering if this is a common occurance. Will need to order new ones from Parts Tree.

I've had a couple that were badly worn, just welded up the worn area and ground it down to fit tightly .
