Ed Kennell 35,141 #51 Posted November 12, 2018 Thanks to one of our members for reminding me that I owe my Red Square Family an update on Mark's progress. He received his third chemo about 10 days ago and is doing well. The meds are taking care of the hiccups and indigestion that he suffered for a week after the first treatment. He has 3-4 days of nausea after his treatments. but he has been able to work part time when he is feeling OK. He did have a bout with a kidney stone about 2 weeks back, but he passed it w/o any complications. His fourth and final chemo is scheduled for the week after Thanksgiving, then about a month later, we begin the testing and evaluation. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. Ed Kennell 35,141 #55 Posted December 4, 2018 A quick update on Mark. He had his fourth (and final ? ) chemo treatment in Friday. The hiccups and indigestion after effects are being minimized with the meds. He has been working full time except for the 4-5 days after his treatments and is hoping to return to work tomorrow. I just want to again thank everyone for offering your prayers and well wishes. And I send my prayers to the several members that have sent me PMs relating their similar situations. It is a comfort to know we are not alone on fighting this battle. 6 4

Ed Kennell 35,141 #57 Posted December 20, 2018 (edited) Our prayers were answered. Mark had his post chemo CT scan on Monday and we just reviewed the results with his medical team this afternoon. He is clear and no further treatment is scheduled, although he will have a CT scan every three months. Thank you all for your support and please continue to direct your prayers to those who are still fighting this battle.
