I have gauges on my 520 I'm parting out and I'm wanting to make sure the gauges are in working order. Anyway to check these gauges?

Do you know the part numbers for them? The Demystification Guide may have a test procedure. If it does they should be in our manuals now under the part number.

No I can't find a part number on the gauge it's not very legible. It is a Stewart Warner RPM gauge I'm wanting to check.

If the Horse was running a Laser Tachometer Tach RPM Tester could be used. Some are inexpensive.

I doubt testing would work unless the engine was running. Interesting.
