953 nut 51,721 #6 Posted June 22, 2018 Never had the opportunity to meet Jim in person but had several occasions to converse via PM. He was an asset to our hobby and will be missed. I pray that Jim's family will be comforted by the knowledge that God is waiting with open arms to welcome Jim to Heaven. I can only imagine Jim saying to God; Caption This! Gonna miss you Jim. 3

tunahead72 2,342 #11 Posted June 23, 2018 I'm one of those people who never got to meet Jim in person, but we did share some laughs and musical opinions here on RedSquare a few times. It's easy to see how important he was to the early success of this forum, and to helping it keep running smoothly. My condolences to his family, he will definitely be missed. 4

Anglo Traction 759 #15 Posted June 23, 2018 Sad news indeed. There will remain a large void on this Forum where his humour and stoicism is an example to us all. Whenever I see an image of Mutley it will remind me of that example. R.I.P Mr. D. 2

rmaynard 14,898 #21 Posted June 23, 2018 I met JimD at the first WHCC show that I went to in 2010. He sat under my canopy on one of my chairs. The following year I told him that I'd bring that chair for him if he came. I've continued to bring that chair in hopes that his health would improve and he'd be able to return. Sadly, I won't need to bring the "JimD" chair anymore. RIP JimD 2

How about setting the empty chair next to one of your Horses and snapping a pic or 2 ? Would be a good entry for next years calendar
