Anyone in the CT area want to get together?

I know this is a stretch however I am looking for a lift bar for my mid mount grader blade. The curved one that attaches to the tractor lift arm and the grader blade. I will be bringing my C175. See you all there.

Guys,

For the meet and greet can bring a newer motorcycle floor jack and a D series rear mount tiller or snowplow hitch. I am asking $60 for the jack and $45 for the hitch. If you are interested and I will bring to Fireman's house on Sunday. Thanks -Steve Bo

Pickledhorse has a thread on a rj58 and suburban rebuild (work in progress section). He saw the electrolosis setup from my 551 restore thread. He did an awesome job on his tank. :omg: Check it out, as this will be relevent to next Sunday's get-together. See you guys then.

Well, the weather isn't looking to good for Sunday  . Looks like an 80% chance of rain and thunder . I'm still game to have it if everyone else is going to come. Not sure if it will be worth bringing your tractors though. I do have a 10X20 EZ UP canopy I will put up so I can move some of my tractors outside and give us more room inside. Your still welcome to bring your tractors. Should be enough room "under the Big Top" for all. We could postpone it till another Sunday but I will leave it up to everyone to decide. Please chime in and let me know what you all think. The weather forecast could change and usually does as we well know living in New England :omg: .

I'm good either way. I will back off on bringing stuff though. I suppose it will put a little damper on things. I was looking forward to Chris(WHC-125) tuning a carb. I'll need to find out about Chris and Bill as we're car pooling. The tent is a great idea for rain, Thunder is not.

Chris,

You can still bring stuff. I have the garage available to work on tractors. That's why I am going to put up the canopy to put my tractors in. Just going to make things more interesting :omg:

I will bring my 702 as long as we can put her in the garage and its not raining on the way or on the way back. And then no charge to fix your carb. :omg: But maybe I will bring the C-125 because it gets rained on when I plow anyways and covered with snow. But it should stay this Sunday because I have been waiting for this for a while and maybe next month somone else will have a nice sunny day when the host it.

WHC-125 and Bill---- If you guys are losing interest in bringing tractors because of the rain, please let me know. I'll ditch the trailer. I can still pick you guys up and carpool. We'll just fill the truck bed with stuff. (maybe, come home with other peoples stuff) I'm going to work on the truck Saturday to get her ready. Haven't had a tune up in four years!! (only 15k though.)

Fireman-- Let me know what you need to complete the e-tank setup. :omg:

Coadster,

I have the can, soap powder, 12 volt supply, steel plates and rebar.

As far as the garage is concerned, there is room for 2 tractors. The C-81 is easy to roll out. The D won't roll unless I loosen the hydraulic overide. I am going to try and get it running Friday and Saturday so i can have them both outside to give us more room.

Can't promise I'll have room inside for the 702 Chris :omg:

Then how about the tarp shed. Hopefully it doesnt rain at all :omg: The weather people are never right anyways, I guess we will have to wait and find out.

Hey All,

1. If you have a laptop with WiFi and would like to bring it feel free. I have wireless internet in the workshop.

2. We can scratch one thing off of our to do list. I started playing around with the D200 and C-81 getting them ready to pull out of the garage so we can use that space. If you remember, the wife plowed with the C-81 on the last storm while I was at work. She called me and said that it just quit half way through the driveway.

I tried to talk her through checking things out but to no avail. Well I tried to get it going today. Got spark and plenty of fuel. Actually too much fuel as I noted when I pulled the plug to check it. There was a puddle of gas in the cylinder. I disabled the coil and cranked the engine with the plug out to blow out the gas. Low and behold the piston did not move while the engine cranked :omg: . She must of snapped the rod, wrist pin, or bearing cap. The crank I believe is fine because the pto spins fine. Sooooo now I either have to rebuild it or maybe, just maybe buy one of them there Diesel engines for it  . That C-81 would sure be nice with a 10 horse diesel and front end loader

See you guys tomorrow

I guess it doesnt need a carb clean. Also last I knew williambogner had a New 8 hp Kohler short block and another engine in good shape. You should send him a PM.

And maybe we can add something to the to do list. My C-125 hasnt been charging the battery properly and I switched out the regualtor with no luck so if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it because I have been going through batterys like crazy
