I had six pictures of wheel horse:

2. 1962 702

3. 1966 1076

4. 1976 B100

Slide 2. BRIEF HISTORY

The Wheel Horse brand was created in 1946, by Elmer E. Pond.

It was originally sold under the Pond brand name.

They were famous for the Walk-Away 2 wheeled garden tractor, and also the 4 wheeled lever steer tractor

Fantastic job Devin!

I am a teacher myself and would have loved sitting in and listening to you give the speech on the great little red tractors. It is always great to see a student talk passionately about something they really love. Especially if no other students might share the same enthusiasm. You are helping spread the word to the younger generation!

Keep up the great work!

Great job Devin!

As I stated in another post.. Kathy and I are very proud of you!

I think we might have another "Wild Bill" up and coming.

Maybe Devin could give his speech at the Mentone show for

all to enjoy??? Maybe we will let that slide for now Devin....

We don't want to put that kind of pressure on ya....lol

Excellent job Devin, keep at it like that and life will treat you well .

Despite dialup, the mods post that P/P and I'll definitely spend the time to load/watch it , today's youth just doesn't have that kind of drive overall - good job.

Clinton?

Lausen?

That's showing some age, Charlie ...lol .

My first small engines class project was rebuilding a 2hp Clinton- we couldn't find parts ! Yamaha piston, some odd rings , a sweep-the-floors-for-a-week swap to balance the crank, long story short I got a 3 day suspension for blowing up the school's engine dyno (15hpmax..) .

Ah, the good 'ol days.

Sarge

PS- Devin, torque is what rules on garden tractors, small hp Kohlers will outpull twice the hp in a Brigg's ...
