sdhdcouple 133 #3 Posted May 17, 2018 well after looking at the down load you provided, i have to go look. I was mowing and just lost all belt power and the pto was engaged but just not spinning the belt. It should be cooled off i am going out to take it apart . stand by for pictures

sdhdcouple 133 #5 Posted May 17, 2018 OK here is a few pics. Guessing I lost a bearing.
WHX?? 46,932 #6 Posted May 17, 2018 Well that's not too serious. Funny you couldn't hear or feel that one going out. Note the alternative part numbers in this thread. I would clean and regrease the needle bearing while I had it apart ... replace the seal as well. Seal is at NAPA also, have them cross a Victor 53104.
sdhdcouple 133 #7 Posted May 17, 2018 funny you mention hearing it, last week and today kept hearing a noise. But I kept hearing it on the left side while on it. I was riding a round and kept hearing something but could not put an ear directly on it. guessing (hoping) this is all it is. don't happen to have a good napa part number for that bearing do you? squonk 39,011 #8 Posted May 17, 2018 Yup you let the Genie out! At least this Genie can be replaced as opposed to the Genie in an electrical item. His name is Lucas. I burnt out that brg. a few yrs ago. No noise. Smelled like Barb B Q. I keep a spare bell around for such occasions. Replace the brg. when I have time. # 204RR6
