Vinylguy 4,691 #1 Posted April 11, 2018 This will take a long time to do but what the heck. I am going to design a set of collector cards with a card for every model made from 1955 through 1997 The problem is I need to find good quality images of each. I realize that this may be impossible but once completed I will be glad I did it. The 1974 thru 76 Alphabets were the same as far as I know so will only make one card for each and label them 74 through 76 saving several cards there. Probably wont do the electric"s and reo's but could always add them later. Please feel free to give your feedback on the design and info that would be useful on the cards. If I use a picture of a members tractor I I will ad a credit to the image if they desire. Maybe I will produce them like the old baseball packs with five random cards per pack. No bubble gum though. Let me know what you think good or bad. This is a very early image to get started. Need to write some history on the lower area for this one. 14

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,412 #6 Posted April 11, 2018 Terry- I think it will be great. i suggest we post only high quality photos of original machines here. No offense to the customs out there but if you want to do it right I would suggest phots of how they came from the factory. Just my .02 cents. As we discussed you have my permission on use any photos of my machines. I have all RJ's and suburbans and most round hoods but not a lot from the square hood models from the mid 60's through the 80's. Maybe you could use some funky customs as jokers.... 3
Vinylguy 4,691 #7 Posted April 11, 2018 Thanks Steve. Yes on the factory stock photos if at all possible. and the larger files crop and print much better. Maybe come out with a Customs collection in 2019 but this series is meant to be factory original machines. Thanks in advance 4

wallfish 17,662 #14 Posted April 11, 2018 Will there be more B-80 and C-120 cards produced than let's say a 754, to equal how rare they are? Make only 5 RJ-25 cards so they're worth more for trading? Pot luck when buying a pack of cards like baseball cards are? Just throwing it against the wall to see what sticks. 1

I was talking to one of my suppliers last week and he says that memory and storage space are going up the end of this month due to tariff's. Now he may have been fed bad info, but if that is the case, I urge you to get something soon. You may need a pretty large external hard drive for all those high quality images! The cards by the way, are an excellent idea!! I'd love to collect them all, put them in a nice frame, and hang them in my office!

nylyon-(Admin) 7,618 #17 Posted April 11, 2018 I love this idea, but may I ask that the model pictures be placed in the appropriate category in our model picture area? http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/forum/17-wheel-horse-picture-gallery/ 1

The Hard drive comment was meant to be a joke really as I have plenty of storage but I am going to purchase another external drive to back up 12 years of my Wheel Horse decal Templates. I do not trust the cloud with thousands of hours of my life. I am not getting any younger. Once I come up with a final design for this project I am going to save each cards file with the decal templates so Lola can easily find them should God change my plans before I do.

Most phones have awesome cameras and always use the highest settings when taking pictures of your equipment. Also try to have as little background clutter as possible to help make the tractor stand out. email or text any pictures you wish to offer to mcg503@outlook.com text to 309-335-5606 again at full size if possible.
