Rollerman 290 #26 Posted January 25, 2008 Very cool Greg...I like the jeep a lot! What kind of Iseta parts went into it....I have a buddy that restores them. I have seen a mini jeep at the Portland show or I think it was at the Wapak swap last fall with a mower deck under it. You may have seen it? The Rokon is a neat one too...I see them from time to time at the White Star auction up in MI.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,569 #27 Posted January 25, 2008 Here's the thread on the home made mini jeep I referred to earlier: Kevin Bietz Mini Jeep It follows the project through out the build.
pond195520032003 27 #28 Posted January 26, 2008 Stephen, im not exactly sure i think the front end(wheels, axle) and the steering parts yes i saw it its called a ROOF Palamino and has i think a twin cylinder engine would like to have one but they always sell high Greg in s.e. ohio
Rollerman 290 #29 Posted January 26, 2008 Terry thats a cool thread but not the same one. Greg I've seen the Roof Palomino's ...don't know if you seen the same one I did? It had an aluminium body or possibly stainless...raw metal finish. Looked to be about a 60" deck underneath too. I was pretty sure it was a home built...didn't look manufactured. Still a nice toy to mow & cruise the yard! :D
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,569 #30 Posted January 26, 2008 Stephen, I know. In one of my earlier posts in this thread, I mentioned a similar mini jeep project. I was just putting a link to that one, not the one in Greg's original post. Sorry for the confusion. On a side note, if we could get Kevin Bietz on this site, he has a lot of projects and good ideas. Though in some it leaves me :P
pond195520032003 27 #31 Posted January 26, 2008 Stephen, yes thats the one! it was up near the entrance by the cub with a home made loader the original sheet metal was removed and the stainless was added there was another one at the rear of the lot on a trailer without the sheet metal the little jeep my brother has will probably run 70-80 MPH not with me in it :(
combatmp29r 27 #32 Posted January 26, 2008 Terry thats a cool project. Finally found time to view the whole thread. Kids are sleeping :D
Rollerman 290 #33 Posted January 26, 2008 Yes it is a very cool thread...& it gives me ideas. Can't wait till I get some steel so I can play with the welder. Greg The stainless body threw me off then...thats a great swapmeet I should have bought the 8 tired round hood south east of your bus. I may be willing to pay money to see your brother drive that thing 80/90 MPH...I'll bring a bucket of ball bearings. Terry I wasn't confused...just had temporary dyslexia

Rollerman 290 #36 Posted January 26, 2008 Joel I'm kinda waiting to see how that works. Greg last price I seen was $200 & may have taken less with the normal amount of tires?
