Looks great!   Any place you could hide the voltage regulator since you’re building the wiring harness?

Great optics, nice finish.

Ain‘t the badest place for the Regulator, I see several advantages

looking for short electrical Way‘s

easy to clean up while clogged

big cooling Surface against overheat.

I only would suggest, just a simple ventilated cover over it, that avoid direct sunlight onto it in Summer.

maybe chromeplated or Aluminum polished will be a great optical gadget.

or if possible mounting inside the Frame.

The regulator was always there, it is not used anymore but I thought it looked cool & decided to keep, I mean I put a cigarette light on that im not really using either just for looks.

The only thing I really removed for good is the original deck lever, and all that linkage type stuff it is all cut out and removed, gives a bit cleaner look.

Not sure how I missed this one either. Glad I stumbled across it though, I've got the same tractor sitting in the back corner of my shop that I'm about fed up with the VH80 on myself. Had almost talked myself into getting rid of it or parting it out. But after seeing this I'm getting other ideas. My oldest son has been wanting a tractor of his own, might be a good project for him and I to do a repower on in the near future.

Finally made a test ride over the weekend, everything went good for the most part, few tweaks need to be made...
