Paint is my weakness as well. It's an art form to do it right, and none of my paintjobs turn out well. 

 

As an old friend said, they "look fine from 15-20 feet away"... :blink:

Tonight, I opened up the remaining throttle slot for the C-141 and test installed both choke and throttle. I may need to drill out the throttle lever pivot to flip it as it’s backwards from normal now.

This is how it started with an Idea.


I admire folks who are able to do these types of modifications,engineering.

Anything is possible with some knowledge and skills….excellent work .

Today between hanging out with my nieces and nephews, I got more work done on the Frankenstein C-141. I got the frame ends welded by my father, and assembled the rear end up to the fender mount. I also installed the upper dash and started to figure out how to get the throttle and choke working. All I have to do now is hook up the throttle and choke and change out the fuel pump on the K321 and it may run and move.

hi JoeM,

 

love looking at the fab/build stuff.  keep it coming!   i think it is safe to say that we all can appreciate the incredible amount of time and talent that it takes to produce something as unique, functional and beautiful as artie.

Yeah, same here. and massaging something to fit. That happens sometimes too.

Yeah, on some things others sometimes (body parts) need a bit more finesse.😁
