Tractorhead 9,183 #23932 Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Doing a Full Service after Mowing today. beginning with an Oilchange, after that i cleaned the Carb and Air filter, followed by removing the Deck, cleanout the Deck from last few weeks gunk. at Least sharpened the Blades and give her a complete Regreasing. To stressless remove the Deck i use an Hoist i have mounted in 4 meters height at my Shed. @Ed Kennell did you Spot your Sign?? With that Hoist i can lift the Deck in a comfortable height to work on it. The Rubberband on the left prevents the deck from swinging away while working. Cleaning is done and there is still red paint visible under the gunk. Ok this 2 10 liter Buckets of grass gunk told me - maybe next time earlier doing a Cleanup. Yap i see it too, it needs a new belt because of several cracks. Belt order is placed. i also need 2 of the Deckbelts but i somewhere noticed what Size they must have... - my Problem is now : .... i forgot where i put the note😎 dang ready for the next Task ! MainelyWheelhorse 1,331 #23933 Posted 22 hours ago After work today, I mowed with the 312 before the rain we are supposed to get tomorrow and it looked a bit long. I think the deck needs bearings or a once over because it drowns out the engine. I've got time off coming up so maybe I'll tackle it then. 4

That's the trouble with spending a 40 year career as an engineer in the Wheel industry - I know why those limits are placed on wheels and tires. We test the wheels on over rated loads on over inflated tires. I've seen some rather spectacular tire failures during testing. Truth is, you can run the trailer over 80 and be OK for a while. Hot days, low tire pressure, a fully loaded trailer, and how much you exceed 80 will reduce the amount of time that the tires will be OK when operated over their recommended top speed. Morgan, the 14-8, got picked for cart duty today. I'm finally getting around to putting the dock in this year. Carried the 7 sections down to the lawn by the lake and stopped a coat of stain on them in preparation for launching them into the lake this weekend.

If you’ve been posting on this before, I’ve missed it but I can see that this is a “skin deep” Wheel Horse and I’m hoping to get a much closer look!

If you’ve been posting on this before not sure, i wasn’t going to show anything just sell some stuff. the machine is a 522xi on a cadtrac style sub frame. i don’t think i posted a build thread, not much interest here on the newer machines. Some of us are on the lookout for cool ideas. Some of us are glad for the chance to witness and appreciate the talent and artistry that goes into making cool stuff. Some of us just like shiny objects! What caught my eye was the hydraulic drive motors on the rear and the realization (having never heard of or seen a CADtrac before) that it was likely 4WD and articulated.
