What have you done to your Wheel Horse today?

Changed out the TU pulley on Frankie. I has a few of these plastic ones. JD uses them and my son has a 324 that has them on the hydro pulley. I know he has to be pushing 500 hours with no issues. 

I put one on the hydro and I must say they are smooth. Very smooth. Now I know why they are used by JD.

Added a lift assist spring for snowblower on the 702. Made it definitely easier to raise up. With my lower back issues I need any help I can.

May help the blower to float and reduce wear on the skids as well.

The blower has the steel wheels instead of skids. I did adjust spring so snowblower isn't bouncing around when down but yet its definitely lighter on the wheels. I'm sure I'll maybe need to adjust it some????

Got the transaxle case back together on my C-120, after changing out the differential assy. Of course, that's when I realized that the only oil I have on hand is all 30W 

Anybody need a good diff with trashed axles? Or, does anyone have any good "repurposing" ideas? I suppose I could get a forge and make a few swords.

I looked at mine, and swore at it for a bit because the side panel wont go back on. Then went back inside.

I looked a little bit for the work your horse thread but failed ... my penance is reading all upmteen pages of this one ... 

 

As long as we're wrenching on sno machines. This one in the shop for oil & filter. Is it just me or does a motor just seem to run better with fresh oil? Should have cleaned the carb ... surging abit and seafoam aint workin. Need it tho so after today's cleanup. 

Grass screen was rusty ... I think they look cool in red ... 

 

Do I have a problem?

Put custom decal from @Vinylguy on this morning. I wanted a decal that matched the seat latch decal and think he done a great job.

My Mod.  This engine was originally on a C-81 with obviously bendix starter and under seat tank.  Coil was mounted up top.  I converted her to  a S/G setup.  Some S/G engines the coil was mounted on a bracket bolted to the bottom front of the engine.  I didn't have the bracket but looking at a K181 I picked up for parts it had the cross mount so I went with that as no bracket was needed.

Pressure washed and mounted some 24-12-12 wheels and tires on Ol Thumper (C160). Almost to cold to play in water and got my feet wet..

I installed hourmeter, there were cables ready so I just hooked it up, after some cutting and drilling of course. New ignition key switch was installed too.

 

 

By the way I noticed that I don't have any power in cables for lights switch :/
