What have you done to your Wheel Horse today?

Recommended Posts

8ntruck

I got a little CAD time over the weekend and drew up receiver hitch plans drawn up for my 14-8.

Hopefully, I'll round up materials and get it tacked up in the not too distant future.

SHED:  You may need a five or four inch pipe on the end instead of the other six as the muffler may get too hot and burn the paint off the RJ Hood!

And you have a very nice tractor there !

The Tuul Crib

I got out today to go for a ride around the property and to pick up trash that was thrown out by some foolish..... well.... you know ,anyway the old seat from the 520 I had on it finally broke. I've been trying to save my pristine seat that was on this tractor so I opted out for this one which was off one of my chargers which is grounded right now.

Easy there. Make sure to use a soothing voice and don't push too hard.

Had some storm damage with a large cedar tree.  I finished  pulling the limbs down with the Toyota. Used the Wheel Horse to get the generator and  saws out there. Then hauled two trailer loads to the brush pile.

I started a "nontraditional" paint job on a :wh: today. The yellow shroud on the trouble light makes it look a little orange but it should have an even better bling factor in the sun light.

A close up kinda shows the metallic content in the paint.

Looks great Dan!  Can’t wait to see “said owner” riding in style!

Had a fire out in the woods after work:

And later in the evening went for a night ride in the backwoods which is currently a muddy swamp. I got stuck a few times with the turf tires, luckily she's easy to push out.

Bought a 520h & brought it home yesterday (you guys gave me an itch for one) {no pictures} and stored it at my sons house until I can make room for it. Garage & drive are full and I've got to put a couple more together and hopefully get some sold. They will be workers, not show tractors, as I do not have facilities for painting. A 417h  with a rebuilt K301 engine, and a couple C121's with option of various attachments,,[or none]. I have a tiller I haven't been able to sell alone, a dozer blade, and a deck or two. Maybe, hopefully I can get some things moving.     R.A.

I put a car battery in the Cinnamon horse a few weeks ago. Group 51 I think?

I hadn't taken the time to properly fasten it down.

Today I added an extension nut to the end of the battery tray stud and a bolt into it.

@squonk and @Sparky you both noted that the high RPM was some higher than normal.

Fixed that as well.

Also adjusted the carb mixture in high and low.

She's a happy horsey now.
