What have you done to your Wheel Horse today?

A little tail light security. My new led taillights work great but one of them was a little to easy to remove the lens on so thought I would add a little security and put a. #6 screw through lens and base.

Found green plastic throughout the inside during disassembly due to broken oil sensor.

Dang forgot to install balance gears...oh well!

Started putting Epump on 312-8 today. Got bracket made to mount pump behind motor. Found break in sheetmetal that holds seat gas tank bracket so got that straightened out, then pressure washed machine. Put new bushing and fuel cut off in tank and got new fuel line run. Got hungry and had to quit for the day. Also had to get home b4 warden got in. Had a visitor while working today and he/she exemplified the ol saying meaner than a black snake, it would run dog then dog would run it funny as he77.

Handy Don

The 312-H at my son’s place got it’s share of TLC this weekend.

Saturday: take off the snow blade & wheel weights, sharpen and lube recycler deck and install

Today: swapped in  LED headlights, and a new battery (O’Reilly’s), rewired the power for the seat-back utility light, and installed a rear rock shaft (made by @JoeM & bought at the BS last year), lift cable, and sleeve hitch.

Found a couple of item’s we’ll have to get to soon. Maintenance is never ending!

We could probably fix you right up if I would stop killing them.

Note- King and black snakes get a pass. All others are legitimate targets.

By all others I mean not black or black and white banded. We have several varieties of poisonous sneks here. Copperhead (bit me several years back), cottonmouth, rattlers, and coral snakes.

The poisonous ones I can understand the great aversion to.

Snakes eat things we don't want around here, like rodents... and unfortunately other things we do want around, like frogs.

Our rodents are targeted 🎯  by several means.

Last night I installed the hitch I ordered from wheelhorsepartsandmore. Bolted up nice on my 1257 and seems like very good quality, I look forward to using it. Thank you @wheelhorseman .

This is my issue. We have a lot of snakes around me, and some are venomous.  Aside from garters I am not great at telling the difference and so I try to avoid them all.

The only ones I ever killed were stuck in my bait basket, and I know they were venomous.

But I thought danger noodles were downed high voltage lines.

I'd say both qualify. I mean really, even a foam pool noodle - in the right hands - is a danger noodle...
