Hmmm, what do you charge for about an acre ? And I KNOW for fact you have spreaders for some fertilizers too! See ya next weekend! LOL (Gotta get all that crap done before the engine show season begins and it's creeping up on us!) 3

squonk 46,493 #25553 Posted March 25 Still got the Frosties in the ground here and when it gets warm too wet. I have managed to get about 30 lbs. of dog muffins off the back yard. Got a few hundred pine cones to move once conditions improve enough to get a tractor on the grass.
kpinnc 18,151 #25554 Posted March 25 Spraying fences again today. Have to do this once every couple years. You can see the difference in front of the tractor vs behind... 6

MainelyWheelhorse 2,535 #25556 Posted March 26 This was more of a Wheel Horse tractor accessory day. The old ATV tires that were on my trailer that I sometimes use behind my tractors needed some TLC. One tire had developed a leak, both needed valve stems and had pretty severe weather cracking. So I had some extra tractor tires which held air and some spare hubs so I swapped them. I may swap them back later but at least now I can move and use the trailer until I decide what I want to do. 5

I'm not even remotely familiar with the (semi) local show scene. We've been going to a couple per year. Owl's Head Transportation Museum is very welcoming to all exhibitors for all shows. Normally we attend the Truck & Tractor show but we've been really enjoying the Air Show. This year we have a lot going on in the camping & hiking schedule and also MANY things happening at home. Only one tractor related show for us this year. @JCM Jim's event in September.
Chris689 268 #25563 Posted March 27 Pulled all three tractors out of their trailer today. Need to use the trailer for something else tomorrow, but also got the the Brinly mounted up to the 73 today and switched the AGs over to the 73 from the 77 for temp use. 5
hotajax 270 #25564 Posted March 27 Replaced the rubber hood latches on my 314. Used a rivet tool I bot at Harbor Freight. I put in the four rivets, and the Harbor Freight tool promptly broke. Like it was supposed to. Since I bot it that day, got my pesos back. You can't take HF seriously. 2 2

702854boy 753 #25570 Posted March 29 Just now, pfrederi said: Tires are interesting but how do you start it??? (no belt on S/G I have to use a rope to start it temporarily, the s/g for it was off getting rebuilt and last night I tried putting the s/g from our new 854 that we haven't tried to get running yet but when it was running the regulator got pretty hot on the bottom so I just disconnected the s/g from the engine temporarily until the correct one for it makes its way back home and we can use it. I'm a little impatient so i didn't feel like waiting till Tuesday to drive it. Just need to make sure to watch the volt meter though so we don't kill the battery too much.

I will agree, it worked pretty good to shovel snow over the winter and it was lighter than a plastic one so I didn't hurt myself as much shoveling.

ML3 2,311 #25574 Posted March 29 (edited) Got ambitious & hopeful that the snow is done. I'm sure I'm wrong but took plow off 654 & put on mower deck. Looked at yard, especially the front & decided to mow. Back yard was still wet & muddy in places. Right tie rod broke loose at ball/socket. Had to knock it back in a couple times w/hammer to get finished. Went thru my stash of junk & found a new set of the rods. Not a really pretty tractor but its been a really reliable worker, mowing, plowing, hauling trailers, etc. Edited March 29 by ML3 9
