It's an art form to do it right, and none of my paintjobs turn out well. As an old friend said, they "look fine from 15-20 feet away"...
MainelyWheelhorse 1,458 #23952 Posted June 17 Tonight, I opened up the remaining throttle slot for the C-141 and test installed both choke and throttle. I may need to drill out the throttle lever pivot to flip it as it’s backwards from normal now. 4

MainelyWheelhorse 1,458 #23955 Posted June 18 Today between hanging out with my nieces and nephews, I got more work done on the Frankenstein C-141. I got the frame ends welded by my father, and assembled the rear end up to the fender mount. I also installed the upper dash and started to figure out how to get the throttle and choke working. All I have to do now is hook up the throttle and choke and change out the fuel pump on the K321 and it may run and move. 4

8ntruck 7,772 #23962 Posted June 21 (edited) What did I do with my Wheel Horse today? I poured 2 fingers of my Rye variety Wheel Horse over ice, added some lime juice, and poured in some Diet Coke. Picked it up and sipped a toast to those at the Big Show that they have a good time, make some good deals, and have safe travels. With any luck, one of these 'next years', I'll make it there myself. Desko 624 #23963 Posted June 21 Had a great time at the show today and walked away with some really nice goodies! Got a 48” blade with the extension brackets for the 520 a nice 44” two stage blower (didn’t really need but too good a deal to pass up lol) and a tub cart that the wife wanted to use for the garden. Definitely didn’t plan on buying much or I woulda brought my 8ft bed truck but it made the 3 hour ride home good despite the haphazard strap job. 9

adsm08 3,142 #23965 Posted June 21 Got ags on the Commando: Next up will be deck service and checking over the add-on lights. I think only one or two are working at the moment, but the OE headlights both work. 5

I figured since I already had a pair mounted up on the right size wheels I might as well get them on.
ebinmaine 72,386 #23968 Posted June 22 The BBT aka Trina aka The Paint Department has another mo-chine in her Herd. @Sparky owned this coooool conversion for years. I've always thought it was neat. This is Trina's favorite size & shape of tractor. Mid 60s Short frame. 8 HP. Stick shift. And round fenders! Unaware that he was even thinking of selling it.... I mentioned to Sparky that if he ever wanted to, I'd be interested. I then found out he and @Pullstart had agreed to a sale. Not 5 minutes goes by and Kevin sends me a text saying BBT should have this... Mike was even nice enough to deliver it to my momma's place. The Trina person is VERY happy with this rig. She "had to" take it for a short ride immediately. When we get it home it'll be put right to tasks. I believe this will be an immediate go-to favorite of hers. We'll swap wheels & tires to some more aggressive AG rears. I've had a thought of doing this exact conversion to one of our own tractors for several years now. This seat has been patiently waiting. Looks like a perfect place. THANK YOU MIKE AND KEVIN!!

stvski80085 237 #23972 Posted June 22 Finally new tires and wheels painted. Just mounted them up. I’m happy with it. The wheels aren’t perfect but look good for a worker. Steve 10
Lee1977 7,185 #23973 Posted June 22 (edited) Finally got thr Raider 12 back running. Changed out the Walbro carburetor to a Kohler couple of weeks back but the battery was dead and didn't get it started even with jumping. Been fighting rain and over grown grass and didn't get back to it. Yeaterday I tried to charge the battery, but it was too for gone. Went down to Tractor Supply and got a new one. Adjusted the carb. and got it running smooth seams to have a lot more power Just need to put the hood back on. Edited June 22 by Lee1977
Thegearhead0324 1,351 #23974 Posted June 22 (edited) Today I took apart my original seat, it looked like a pancake so I cleaned all the old stuff out of it and re-stuffed it the best I could. I’m not good with these type of things but it looks ok for what it is. Edited June 23 by Thegearhead0324 7
