Bet she would appreciate seeing you do that Last night while I was doing it, in her garden. Tonight while I was finishing, sitting at the table going over medical forms for her camp out this weekend. She is fully aware of what I was doing, she's just really awesome. Her exact words when I started yesterday were "Go ahead and break the top again, I want a new oven anyway".

Im sure she wasnt happy. My grandfather owned 2 Cadillac dealerships in the 1970s- late 1990s so I always drove Cadillacs. When I was 19yrs old & still living at home I took off my wire wheel covers & put them into dishwasher to clean them. My mom was furious! When my dad got home she was even more mad cause he thought it was a great idea & did the same with his! 🤣
ineedanother 1,656 #23906 Posted yesterday at 12:30 AM Been a bit distracted with a complicated cabinet installation in my kitchen and finally got around to starting this this evening. Never done it before...from a 1976 c-160, unmolested pump and motor. Surprisingly good condition for being 50 y/o. Cleaned up nicely. 320, 600, 1000 grit. A few dimples but should be strong. Have all of the gaskets and stuff now so I'm looking forward to getting it back together. 5

nylyon-(Admin) 7,825 #23909 Posted 15 hours ago Megan is gonna need a snow plow for those Connecticut winters. Put the bracket on the back I had lying around. Also when I bought this tractor, the PO had a switch in the dash that was wired to nothing, so removed the switch and replaced with a black cap.

Tuneup 1,449 #23911 Posted 14 hours ago The '76 C120, a rescue and in the shed for years, is finally getting to work again. Went through the engine and trans long ago. The 42RD is clean and on new bearings. It does look its age and has had a hard life. Label says it was purchased in Joplin MO. Handed down a generation - the boys fully expect it to never give up and the meadow can use a mow. Don't blame the bros for not mowing. It was like this when they closed.

I have seen every Bond movie between Dr. No and Moonraker, except On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I stopped watching them after Roger Moore quit doing them. I also choose believe that The Rock is Connery's last Bond movie.

Found a calculator, assumed the tractor was a solid cube weighing approx 800 lbs with a 3x5 cross section. Terminal velocity is 142 mph. Not hard to get a garden tractor to +88 mph, as long as you can get it high enough. Edited 11 hours ago by adsm08
