Vermont Castings Defiant Encore   @c-series don

The old Defiant didn't have glass in the doors. (Had one) I have a Resolute Aclaim which looks similar. Nice stoves!

You put the tires on backwards?  :scratchead:

No, the big ones go on the back.                 :hide:

That's what I was wondering also, where was the woman of the house while you were doing that.  Bet she would appreciate seeing you do that   :ranting:

Last night while I was doing it, in her garden. Tonight while I was finishing, sitting at the table going over medical forms for her camp out this weekend. She is fully aware of what I was doing, she's just really awesome.

Her exact words when I started yesterday were "Go ahead and break the top again, I want a new oven anyway".

Today, I tidied up and put the wiring harness in the C141. I’ll put the other bolt in the rectifier tomorrow.

Using your wife’s ultrasonic jewelry cleaner to clean carb parts ,that apparently isn’t a good idea ,especially if you get caught doing it.

Im sure she wasnt happy. My grandfather owned 2 Cadillac dealerships in the 1970s- late 1990s so I always drove Cadillacs. When I was 19yrs old & still living at home I took off my wire wheel covers & put them into dishwasher to clean them. My mom was furious! When my dad got home she was even more mad cause he thought it was a great idea & did the same with his! 🤣

Been a bit distracted with a complicated cabinet installation in my kitchen and finally got around to starting this this evening. Never done it before...from a 1976 c-160, unmolested pump and motor. Surprisingly good condition for being 50 y/o. Cleaned up nicely. 320, 600, 1000 grit. A few dimples but should be strong. :handgestures-thumbupright: Have all of the gaskets and stuff now so I'm looking forward to getting it back together.

Today just a bit of tidying up, on the tractor and the workshop I’m trying to get the C141 runnable. it won’t be long now.

Pullstart

Stormy came home for a day or two.  I had a tiller posted for sale.  Neighbor Henry said if I can make it work, he’ll buy it!
