The light poll also comes apart right above the fender and slides back together with a inside coupler. So she's not trapped yet. But I get bord often so who knows what I'll weld to it next.

  Cleaned up these IH wheel weights I picked up this summer. I use these as inside weights on my plow rigs, gives me an extra 50#’s on the rear. 
 Went with red for this set. Last set I painted up are black and in my sons 314-8.

Broke the ‘68 Charger 12 again…while mowing round these logs I hit a big one with the left tire and snapped the spindle assembly!

Used Morgan, the 14-8, today to haul the dock sections up the hill to their winter storage area behind the sheds.  Job went well, except for dropping the empty trailer twice going down hill to pick up another piece of dock. I suppose I should use a hair pin in the hitch pin, after all, it is drilled for one.

 

Wading around in the lake to take the dock apart wasn't too bad - once my legs went numb.  Didn't drop anything in the lake while I was working, so it was a good day.

Now that I have a trailer, I hitched it up and took it up to the top the hill to bring down the branches of the dead cedar we took down and limbed last year (we lumbered the trunk). Gave them to my neighbor with a backyard fire stand to add some nice aroma to their fires. Also brought down some firewood for another neighbor from a wind-felled tree.

I am right pleased with the gumption and maneuverability of this 854 and the push/tow poly trailer is just the right size to be a great worker compliment. I do have to get a seat cover, though, that metal is pretty slippery!

@Achto broke one just like that on the plow field once. '68 Raider 12..

Grinder & a welder got it back to "good as new" in my case.

Mounted the plow, found out modifications were needed for the plow angle control. Mocked those mods up.

 

Also installed the headlights and tail light. Added a flasher for the tail light.

 

The amber light went there cause holes already existed. Otherwise I would have added 2 - one per side more toward the tires - like where the reflectors go.

Well what went from “I’ll  just change the Tecumseh to a Kohler and new axle seals” is now my new winter project.. already have 1/2 sandblasted!

Painted my idler pulleys and put on a new belt on my tall chute 2004 snowblower attachment today!

I wasn't gonna mention it!  Was gonna let somebody else do the dirty work... but you beat them to it!  

 

I'm waiting a bit to install the blower on the 175 so I can use the mowing deck to mulch up the leaves when they fall.

We live in the forest and I used my 418 with leaf blower yesterday to clean off the driveway and a couple hours later you couldn't even tell I'd been there. Mulching leaves with a 42" rear discharge deck while towing a 42" lawn sweeper will give me more compost for the gardens in a couple years. I get more seat time dealing with autumn leaves than any other time of the year but love the fall color.
