Which by the way is an old horse racing term.... ..... And that last line... Hair covered horses were a part of Trina in the past... I found one trophy topper, because its cheaper then a real hood ornament, that I kinda liked. Turns out its cheaper to buy the whole trophy with engraving then just the top. 10 bucks shipped to your door. So you guessed it..... I ordered one. Now I am not sure what to do with it. Take it apart and use the horse top and the plaque on the 857 ? It already has the custom decal with my name on it. Great reason to fire up the 857 and clear the driveway !!! have I mentioned that I am really starting to like this tractor ? Small and mighty. Steering radius is great, can turn around in the driveway without having to do a 3 pt turn. Pushes all the snow with ease. Since I never used a plow blade before not sure how you guys set them. If I try and plow the sidewalk the blade will get stuck in the cracks. If I raise it up then I dont get a clean pass. Love mine also, it showed me it can dealing with snowplow on a light slope upwards without Chains or added Weight. Ok, i have a Brandnew Set of Reartyres and Fronttyres and they feel very Soft on the Rubber. Maybe they will wear fast, but they have dang good grip on Snow. First turn is the slope down, nothing spectacular without Chains, but the second pass is the same slope up it‘s a little stronger than it appears. my 212 Horse stall‘s here on Snowplow with same Snow height without Chains. I just made this short Vid. this Season while Snowplow, but it also pushes up to 15cm height wet Snow with easy. For more height than 15cm definitively Chains will be needed. i angled my plow Shield on the Cutting rubber to a steep angle of about 87* against the bottom. It doesn‘t hook anywhere, i just have to remove my distance wheels, because they scrappin on bottom and lifts the blade little too much. So actually my Plowshield runs just on the Rubber and makes a good Job. That will be sure increases the wear, but i found a great local source where a meter of 1cm thick conveyor belt rubber cost‘s only 20 bucks and results in 10 usable Stripes with 5 cm width. That result’s in a 2 bucks for a exchange lip, - so let it rub down. But i made yesterday an bigger oops. because my ipad needs a little longer to react while i try to set a thingi on my Watchlist, i tapped little annoyed on the Screen and - Baaaang A message occur‘s ***- Congrat‘s to your Purchase -*** 😂🤪 ok, the price was good so no bargain for it- so let it happen... needs just a little Rework to be usable on the Horse, but than next year i‘m in another Sphere on Snowjobs.. 😎 4 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Usually by this time of year I'd have a good start on a full blown resto or at least a refresh. But I feel your pain on your projects. I have an engine apart for a Simple-City, an engine apart for a Basket Case 444, just inherited the repairs on a WH 1267, & oh yea a Farmall H in a million pieces.
