I think it was something like “Hey, nice truck.”

Funny thing, my wife used that same line on me and it worked.   After 30+ years I sold the truck a couple months ago but kept the wife.

Would you be willing to adopt a 45 year old 'kid' to add to your collection? I want to ride around on all the cool stuff and play in the snow too!

You'd get an extra tax deduction, I clean up after myself, and I wipe my own butt too!

You sent back and be patient Mr Scott.

I brought this up quite a while ago so I'm definitely in line before you unless they've got multiple adoptions available.

Last year my brother bought the Powder Coating Gun from Eastwood and he just happened to have his old stove from his house

at his shop, seemed like the proper thing to do would be coat some pieces.

I tried to order powder from a few sources but shipping was like 2 weeks out, being the impatient guy I am I made a run to

Harbor Freight and grabbed a container of black powder, unfortunately it's flat black but it was just an experiment.

I have the the PTO off from my 312 so I decided to blast the rusty PTO switch bracket, PTO lever stop and battery hold down brackets.

It was actually a bit easier than I thought but time will tell if it's coated properly and doesn't rust, since this tractor will live it's life out inside I don't see and issue.

This was the result after 2 coats .

Turned out decent though I wish it was semi gloss, the flat makes dirt stick to it.

I'm using the oven rack with the pieces wired to it, time to make a cabinet that is tall enough that the oven rack will slide into to hold the parts while being coated and will

have a filtered exhaust fan to suck up the excess powder.

I was a fun project, just need the proper equipment to make it easier.

IMG_9869.jpg

Always fun trying something new eh, they look like they turned out excellent too. I remember though if Im not mistaken, when I was installing a paint piping system in Chrysler Windsor test plant years ago and my memorry has faded since then but I think??? they also had a setup where youd negativly charge one part and the gun was charged to say positive as you sprayed the powder, aparently it makes the and part become attracted, in other words more powder sticks to the part. I sure wished I payed more attention!!! The job was a very rushed job and I had like 100 plus lines to run in less then a week. Either way might be something to research? Dam those parts look great bro.

This can be "cured" using traditional long standing methods involving sage and lots of ceremonial dancing.

A fair sized hammer will convince the metal key it is no longer stamped with swear :crying-green: words.

Pm me your address and I'll send you a proper :wh: WHEELHORSE starting tool.

Possibly generic in brand but certainly not that. That. That. Muck.

I’d isolate it from the herd as well...

Social distancing works on cross-breeding as well as COVID...

I have been trying to figure out how to repaint this red & white. It was painted before I put it together. It doesn't come apart anymore.1165361083_20210114_160544(2).jpg.81079743a707c6a35274b9a170000e71.jpg

then figured out what I forgot and promptly threw in the towel. Can you spot it (hint this is a magneto motor).

Not sure from the pic, but did you not leave the oil seal out for the magneto to ride on?
