Pho Guy 49 #1 Posted October 21, 2017 Good morning, Newbie with a ? I have seen some pics of a 657 with foot rests but can't seem to find them online. Were these custom made? Fabricating a set is beyond my skill set but I would be willing to purchase a pair. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
JimmyJam 542 #2 Posted October 21, 2017 to Those footrest "pegs" were used on many models of that time period (early 60's). By the late 60's-70's Wheel Horse started using the longer wider footrests. What kind of Wheel Horse do you have? Look for an ID tag that should be mounted on steering tower that tag will have model number. or post a pic and someone on here will help you ID the tractor that you have. I looked around my barn but unfortunately found only a single footrest peg. I do have a pair of the longer style.
SPINJIM 1,984 #3 Posted October 21, 2017 There are usually some that come up on ebay, but none showing right now. They're cast iron, so you don't want to try to fabricate. If they don't come up on ebay, they are fairly common at the WH show in June. Good luck. Jim

Pho Guy 49 #6 Posted October 21, 2017 Not sure I was clear. I am looking for horizontal foot rests similar to later models. I have the pegs with the small foot rest. Thanks.

JimmyJam 542 #8 Posted October 22, 2017 Update: I found the second peg-style footrest. Now I have a pair. So, you are thinking of modifying to the later style of flat footrest? I have a restored pair for sale. Let me know. Here's a pic!

JimmyJam 542 #11 Posted October 24, 2017 The footrests that I have pictured are from a 1976 B-80 that I am parting out. I probably have the cross support piece that ties the two footrests together under the seat pan, as well as the B-80 seat pan. I will send you all the measurements so you can make sure that style footrests will bolt up to your 657 with minimal fabrication.

What he is looking to do is remove the existing footrests and replace them with the later long horizontal type style. What he is asking is if he purchases those later type style would he have to make any modifications to his 657 to make them fit.

JimmyJam 542 #15 Posted November 2, 2017 PHO GUY Here are the measurements: Left-side (as you would be sitting on tractor) post must extend 7-1/2"; Right-side post must extend 5-1/2", From the dash tower 2 rear support bracket is 7-3/4", from the center off the front posts to rear support is 19-1/2". I have attached a pic of my 1974 B-80 setup if that helps. Let me know if that is something you can modify to work on your tractor.
