Thoughts and Prayers for T.D.B.

Well I take her weightloss one day at a time.

I/we won today! She maintained her weight

from the day before.....so no loss is a good thing.

But.......her wound is leaking.....and without

describing it..... It does not look good. Changed

the dressing and cleaned her incision. It is

still leaking and red. Doctor called in for antibiotics.

But what worries me is that they threw a ton of

antibiotics at her, in the hospital. I really think

this indicates a problem the doctor needs to address.

But he thinks otherwise......hmmmm

If it does not get better we will insist on seeing him

monday. :thumbs:

Kathy gained a half pound over yesterday!

The antibiotics seem to be doing their magic.....

No more incision problems...for now....

I got her down to the Walmart with a walker....

She resisted shopping for food.....but we got er done.

She still has no appetite, but I keep after her to eat.

That extra calorie "insure" seems to be doing a big part.

Thanks so much from us, to you that think of us as friends.

That means so much to us as we do not have many.......

I am going to keep her walking as that is what they do for

patients in the hospital.

This is the second time I have had to take care of someone

in dire need. It is really nerve racking.

TdB we all may not know each other on the streets but I consider us all friends. Hang in there, it's got to get better!

Guys.....I mopped the floor in the kitchen and bathroom.

Took out the trash and got the dishes done....

Place does not look too bad.

Kathy lost a pound between the last weigh-in...

Got her out to Meijer's and walked her around.

Picked up some things I thought would interest

her to eat.

I got her to go to the Hacienda Resteraunt and she

ate surprizingly good. I thought the smells of the

cooking food would stimulate her appetite.

She drank her insure.....

She did not feel sick as she has before after eating.

Good sign....

I hope she gains a little from all that....

Kathy had her staples taken out of the incision this morning.

She is doing pretty good... She had a little better appetite today

and seems to be holding her own.

I think we are in the clear on her health. Thanks again

for the thoughts and prayers. They did a great deal of good!

Mike and Kathy it is so good to hear good news coming from you guys. It is times like this that really makes one aware of what is important in life. So I cant afford the GT14 with the FEL on e-bay but knowing that life for someone is getting better really means more to me.

My thoughts and prayers will still be with you guys, and hey I might win the lottery tonight and get the GT

Her projected path back to work will be around March 19th.

The posts here will be more scarce until that date....

Unless something unforseen happens....assume that

no news is good news...

And really? a GT-14 on ebay with an FEL???

Kathy!!!!!!! Have we got any money left over after

the doctor? hospital? anesthesiologist?

My Kathy is going back to work tomarow!!!

We are both so glad! And yet we are both so sorry... We have enjoyed

being together as well... I guess things like this are a good look into

the future when we are retired.... Looks like we will get along nicely.
