Rollerman 290 #1 Posted February 11, 2009 Last night I caught a movie that looked like the same actor from the TV series "House" He was driveing a white Dodge Challenger R/T heading west evadeing the police along he way. I caught the movie about halfway through (Just as he entered Nevada & then ended up lost in the desert) but wasn't able to finish it. Anyone know of the movie & able to clue me in? Maybe I can rent a copy or watch for it to come back around.
Brian1045 28 #2 Posted February 11, 2009 Check here. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0491402/ If it was him then it will be listed by his newest work at the top, then going down from there. Let us know...you got me wondering now.

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,599 #4 Posted February 11, 2009 Stephen, Is it an older movie? It sounds like "Vanishing Point". It's from 1971 with Barry Newman as the lead. He was driving a white Challenger, eluding police in the desert, and.....I don't want to leak out the ending. Here's some clips from youtube: From IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067927/

Brrly1 1,146 #6 Posted February 11, 2009 T-Mo I am thinking what you are. That is one of the movies that sticks in my mind about a Dodge Challenger and the desert. John
Nick 13 #7 Posted February 11, 2009 A few things about Vanishing point come to mind. The ending of course but also a small dirt bike/mini bike riding around the desert.
KyBlue 655 #8 Posted February 11, 2009 What time and channel was it on, might be easier to find it that way than guessing who was in it..
linen beige 15 #9 Posted February 11, 2009 Could it have been the 1997 remake of Vanishing Point? The lead actor is Viggo Mortensen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GUcI-KfXXs&feature=related
Rollerman 290 #10 Posted February 11, 2009 T-MO thanks!...Vanishing Point it is! Looks like I'll have to order me a copy, what I did see was pretty good. I guess I really butchered up the ID on the lead actor though? Nick if thats the mini bike scene you were refering to in the clip T-MO provided.....reminds me of something I seen at the Kenton/Canton swapmeet back in the woods once....only on a golfcart. Thanks again for the help & thanks for the link T-MO.

Teddy da Bear 11 #12 Posted February 11, 2009 I guess I really butchered up the ID on the lead actor though I don't think Hugh Laurie will mind that you thought him in that movie. He wouldn't mind getting the royalties either!
