HorseFixer

So it looks like 138 days till the WH collectors club show. Who is planning on attending this years show  and what are you bringing? Eldon are you planning on setting up the Red Square tent again like last year? I hope to have my 701 restored by then, and plan on bringing my Granddaughters workhorse I got from Tickster. I will also bring my 56 Pond or My RJ-58. This year I will also be staying at the show in the Dukes Stabbin Cabin. What Are you guys plans?

I'll be there Thursday as usual. I plan on bringing my 854 and Lawn Ranger plus whatever else I find time for. I might even resurrect my 856,Ol' Smokey, or donate some of her organs to my 855 and bring that. I'll be tenting it this year after getting rid of the motor home two years ago and my van this year. This warm weather today definitely has me in the mood for show season.

Buzz,

Did you and I just email about this??? LOL

Well, this year I am hoping to bring my wife and daughter with me. She'll be two this summer (daughter that is) and she loves her daddy's tractors. What I'm going to bring is up in the air at this point. I'm hoping to have the D250 all set with the Continental Engine transplant. Almost done with that. I suppose the Suburban 551 may also tag along too.

Duke...I didn't make any plans to attend this year cause I thought it would be hard to find a place to stay since you probably reserved all of the rooms at the Blue Moon Hotel  ....but will have to admit that I'm sure gonna' miss all the good company at the show...I wanted to at least see Jerry crankin' on his ole yellar cow again (Techee engine of course).

PS: for all you first time attendees....call Duke for reservations at the Blue MOON!!

well guys i believe i will be there. now being it would be my first time i got all the questions but i have heard i can pitch a tent for free? if this is true do i need a reservation anywhere or is it first come first serve? i know these questions have been answered before but since i wasn't going i never really payed much attention now then bringing a tractor may be a task.... i am at my wits end with my c-125 so that's a no it doesn't deserve to go the 702 is awaiting parts in parts and i would not have the time to put it together so..... that makes me think that i should look for a roller and go to harbor freight and get myself a Honda knock off and see how they work. so if anyone has a rolling anything for cheep i would be interested if its semi close to me well catch you guys later and hope to see you there

I believe it's still free for Friday night or if you arrive Thursday and camp or stay over Saturday night and leave Sunday morning it's $20.00. Cheap enough. No reservations, first come first served. You can't save a spot for your buddies but a truck or two have been known to be parked in a spot until your buddy gets there.

I'll be there with the wife and kids. We plan on getting there on Thursday and camping at the fair grounds. I will have an RJ58 and maybe the 702 if I can fit it. Hopefully we can get one of the new campsites they put in so we can hook up. We'll be staying in our 2005 Starcraft 215SSO:

After the show we plan on going to Gettysburg and spending a couple of days there.

Hey guys, Look through all the show info from last year here:

http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showforum=22

There are several threads covering campsite info, local lodging, and even a bunch of show pics so you can get an idea of the show grounds and parts vendor areas.

Hopefully I'll be able to grab the great spot we had last year.

E.

This will be my first trip to the big show this year. I still need to buy a trailer but I am planning to bring the 416-8 with the backhoe and the RJ-58. Hopefully I can finish another modified tractor project to bring also. So many projects with so little time!

Suburban 550

Duke, We'll be there early Thursday morning. Hope you have breakfast ready when we get there. Bringing along the old 550 and the newly restored 702. I guess we'll be camping in the tent again. If we end up campin' aside ya try to keep the noise to a minimum.

My 17 year old son and I are talking about coming up from VA. I doubt I will bring anything, unless I bring the 520 for a trade, but I would love to meet up with all the Redsquare folks, and put faces with names. Not to mention, all the horses and food. I missed last year, because we had to take my daughter to FL.
