Shipped a WH item to Denmark

Recommended Posts

Brian1045

I just sold a gentleman a steering wheel I had to posted on ebay. To my surprise the buyer was in Denmark.

He has been buying crazy amounts of decals from ibecca/vinylguy on ebay as well.

Maybe WH's are really getting more popular then ever across the pond.

I'm going to contact him and link him to this site...if he's not already a member.

Hopefully we'll be seeing him around.

It doesn't surprise one bit to hear that. I don't have the exact info handy, but I bet Glenn will if he sees this. There is actually a HUGE Wheel Horse following over in Denmark. They had a big collectors club, that had it's own warehouse of tractors, manuals and such, and an internet archive of pictures. Tragedy struck and the warehouse caught fire and some tractors were lost, as were many club resources. I hope someone with the rest of the info can add to this.

Edit - Found an old post with the info... about halfway down the page.

I just took a look around Yahoo Denmark and found several Wheel horses for sale. I thought a D with a steel cab looked interesting.

On both pages you can click on the picture for a larger view.

D-180 with cab and sweeper attachment link

520H with broom link

Also found a page with a video download that shows people in Wheel Horse Denmark shirts. http://www.rival.dk/?id=941 Click on FilmKlip or maybe the picture also. around a 20mb download. Cool tractor pulling video but a bit wet.

Also watch the last tractor. Looks like he belts up a 2nd engine out front. :horseplay:

Was there ever a solid cab made for the D series?
