Any good quality wheel bearing grease will do but moly is fine too, Jeff.

I would wait until fall when you're done mowing and clean it really good with drill wire brush attachment then paint it as it can "set" up over winter before mowing next spring just my opinion, Jeff.

Thats kinda what i figured. Haha. Thanks brother. I'll hafta try finding the red to match in the meantime as i'd like to renew a few other parts as well. The spindle covers on top of deck are peeling the pain from rust.
