MaineDad 87 #5 Posted January 28, 2009 My generator is standing bye too. back in 1998 during the ice storm, I was with no power for 17 days in the middle of January. After 9 days I broke down and bought the generator. Best investment ever!
Duff 206 #6 Posted January 28, 2009 If I drew a line between North Conway and Portland in the purple part of the map you posted, it would pretty much pass right over you, wouldn't it? I think we're gonna get some real snow! Duff
MaineDad 87 #7 Posted January 28, 2009 Duff, Actually if you drew a line from North Conway down to Lewiston and Auburn it would pass right over me. I am tucked right into the top of Cumberland County. North Conway is about 45 minutes from here.
Teddy da Bear 11 #8 Posted January 28, 2009 I am jealous and yet glad it is not me at the same time. I have not had a chance to fix my blower's chute yet because......... My poor wife was sent home very ill from work. Her boss said that the military orders their hummers with camoflage.....and puke was not pre-approved color for that vehicle.
MaineDad 87 #9 Posted January 28, 2009 Mike, Sorry to hear about your wife. Is she OK? Good luck with gettting the chute fixed. I will try to get some video of the C-160 tonight or tomorrow morning cleaning up this stuff...
Teddy da Bear 11 #10 Posted January 28, 2009 Thanks Micah, She is on the couch moaning..... I am sure it is just a stomach flu. Now if I could just get the dogs to leave her alone! They want her to get up and take care of them. My care is not good enough for them. Thanks for the kind words.
MaineDad 87 #11 Posted January 28, 2009 It's funny how the wife and dogs get along. I have had 9 knee surgeries on my right knee and have never got the sympathy my wife gives the dog if he's hurt or sick. She slept on the floor with him the night before he got fixed <_< I hope she gets better soon...
Teddy da Bear 11 #12 Posted January 29, 2009 Thanks Micah.... Guess it is just another example of how the wives rule our worlds.
