Here it is I have a D180 and I broke the right hand steering spindle....I have looked high and low....seems it is a discontinued part....part no. 103798 Now this old girl needs a new leg and I am not ready to put her down......so any of you guys got any ideas about where to find a right hand steering spindle???? ocharry1 27 #16 Posted April 7, 2017 well guys i thank you all for the warm welcome i called A-Z yesterday and had a great talk with Lincoln about this part,,,,and he said he was going to make some up since they are so hard to come by,,,he said it would be about a week and he would give me a call so we could arrange some shipping,,,he seems like a great guy willing to help the cause we had a nice chat exchanging ideas and getting measurements for him,,,he said he was going to make both sides,,,,so looks like new parts are in the pipeline again thx much to all of you guys for the help and guidance,,,,and especially to Lincoln at A-Z tractors ocharry 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Sarge 3,465 #17 Posted April 16, 2017 If you broke the 3/4" spindle , might want to consider hunting down the later model axle with 1" spindles - it's an upgrade worth doing . I did that to my D-180 and also upgraded to trailer style front hubs and bearings as well as full bushings in the spindle bores to keep it rebuildable for years to come , steers like a dream...
