cafoose 3,456 #1 Posted April 3, 2017 It was such a nice day I decided to spread some topsoil. I set the points, adjusted the carb, and put a new spark plug in my 876 and it runs like a top! I also found a new use for the blade, lining up curb blocks! I live next door to a foster care/adoption agency and I do maintenance, lawn care, computer work, and construction for them. I got it at an auction in around 1992 or 1993 for $300 with a 36 inch rear discharge deck. I had the engine rebuilt at about the same time and a few years later had the hydro rebuilt. I rebuilt the deck about five years later with new bearings and a new spindle. Later on I got the 42" blade. The old hood was in worse shape and I found the hood that is currently on it at a mower shop about 45 minutes or so away from me. I love how I can maneuver around with the short frame!
