HorseFixer 2,012 #1 Posted March 29, 2017 (edited) Well Stevebo move over It looks like THE DUKE took your advice and has shifted gears and will be putting the Loader on this 2003 522XI. I think the Power Steering is what sold me Edited March 29, 2017 by HorseFixer
MalMac 1,328 #2 Posted March 29, 2017 Be interesting to see how a Ark is going to fit on there. Now you got a 520 to find room for also.

WVHillbilly520H 10,369 #6 Posted March 29, 2017 Duke, they say the Xi's are the way to go, but I'm still partial to my Onan powered 520s as I have a 520xi also, and my new SCUT isn't much bigger, good luck on your project, I bet those rear Kenda's are 10.5" wide, and lots of guys have went with the Kenda or Carlisle all trail treads for the Xi's, John @shallowwatersailor would be our resident xi "guru", Jeff.
JoeM 7,636 #7 Posted March 29, 2017 Nice machine Duke! Power steering is the berries!
bmsgaffer 2,043 #8 Posted March 29, 2017 You wont be disappointed. I just transplanted a 25HP efi Kohler into my 522xi and it its just a sweet tractor. VERY heavy duty and reliable. There is i believe two threads on here for people adapting or building their own loader for the XI series, so have a gander at those (i will try to find them in a minute) and you should be all set as long as it is wide enough to fit over the cowlings and foot rests.
JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,487 #9 Posted March 29, 2017 A great choice Duke, they are sweet, you will luv it. A good work horse it is, heavy duty and built for the task at hand. Best of luck. Glenn

WNYPCRepair 1,875 #13 Posted March 30, 2017 The power steering definitely makes the loader easy to steer. That is a nice looking machine, too
