I have a couple 59 Fords Ed, , I'm going to assume you are a collector and plan to keep your 59 Fords. So in that line of thinking I will tell you this. Back in 1959 my Dad bought a new 59 ford. Somewhere along the line during his ownership of it he acquired a 59 Ford shop manual from the dealership. It was heavily used and in rough condition when he got it. I think I still have it. Would you be interested in having it? PM me if you are interested.
rmaynard 14,922 #36 Posted January 27, 2017 I see where the seller has ended the auction and re-listed it again. He probably realized that he could not ship it Priority Mail. It is pick-up only now.
ztnoo 2,298 #37 Posted January 27, 2017 Yeah........I was thinking USPS didn't have a Priority box quite that large............
ed lincoln 33 #38 Posted January 28, 2017 JimD thanks for the offer on the shop manual but I have had one for many years. I still have a couple of 59 Fords.

ztnoo 2,298 #41 Posted January 29, 2017 This thing keeps getting relisted, but never gets any offers. It's unique for sure......but it looks to me like it would be a total PITA to work on with all that bodywork everywhere.
rmaynard 14,922 #42 Posted January 29, 2017 I think he cancelled the auction due to the error in the shipping. When he realized that he had Priority Mail listed but could not possibly ship it that way, the only way to correct it (when it already had a bid) was to end the auction due to "error in listing". That way he could correct it and allow the bidding to begin again. That kind of stuff happens sometimes if you are not totally familiar with eBay. I don't hold it against the seller. I would rather see him correct it than to have to fight with a buyer after the auction ends. Still a unique item. I would buy it if I had some place to store it, but I am out of room here. A little TLC and it would look real sharp in the WHCC parade in June.
ztnoo 2,298 #43 Posted January 30, 2017 Looks like there's some interest in this now. 6 bids and the price has moved upward now. It will be interesting to see where is winds up. 3 days and 14 hours left at this point.
WHX?? 46,873 #44 Posted January 30, 2017 I was afraid this was gonna happen but can't quite figure out why it took this long for guys/gals to bid on it. I gotta bad feeling toward the end the price is gonna go way up. Hopefully a member here or other collector is looking to get it. I was going to bid on it and Jack @Wishin4a416 was going to lasso it for me. I figured if I could get it for a decent price and get it to the BS with some haulin help it could get into the hands of a member there for not much more than the starting price & a little gas money for the haulers... Looks like that might not happen now.... will see. I think with a little spit, polish & some TLC this gem would be a real parade stopper!
rustykan 140 #45 Posted January 30, 2017 Bid is at $355 right now with no reserve. I'm close enough and a firefighter, but my wife would probably kill me!
rmaynard 14,922 #46 Posted January 31, 2017 You can buy it and store it at my house. No wait. If my wife won't let me have another tractor because we don't have the room to store it, what makes me think she'd let me store a fire engine? Never mind.
ztnoo 2,298 #47 Posted January 31, 2017 @ $510 now. Time Left 3d 00,Thursday, 10:24PM.

ztnoo 2,298 #50 Posted January 31, 2017 Current bid: $510.00 Time left: 2d 10h Thursday, 10:24PM What model is this tractor??? I don't think I've heard anyone comment. The uniqueness factor has to make it worth more the a standard tractor of the same model in equal condition. The problem is finding The Right Buyer. This isn't something just any Tom, Dick, or Harry is going to buy.
