953 nut 52,313 #8 Posted December 26, 2016 Fantastic find! I was bidding on one much like it on several years ago and dropped out of the bidding at $ 2,500; best of my recollection it topped $ 3,000. 53 minutes ago, Frist timer said: d250 from a yard sale Where I live you never find anything .

ClassicTractorProfessor 5,289 #10 Posted December 26, 2016 You have better yard sales in your area than we do lol. All I ever see is clothes, books, and kids toys. Looks like a solid unit and the loader with forks just sweetens the deal that much more. Parts are a bit more of a challenge to find for the D250 compared to the other models, but you have found the best resource on the net for anything Wheel Horse related. Enjoy your new tractor but beware these little rascals like to multiply!
elliot ness 1,916 #11 Posted December 26, 2016 Welcome Friend , You will love the D250 I have had 3 of them and 1 with a loader. they are a great garden tractor, with lots of power. You would not have gotten hurt money wise if you payed 3000.00 for it. Great score.
Wishin4a416 2,189 #12 Posted December 26, 2016 Welcome to Red Square a I think 2500-3000 would be fair. A supplier I use has a mint one and would take no less than 3000 he says.

6wheeler 586 #16 Posted December 30, 2016 Looks like I had better start garage sale-ing in Elk River.....You will like it. As was said, parts can be hard to come by. Some of the engine parts Ie; points and cap and rotor and filters and such? I buy those at NAPA. Hoses and some other parts can be made there as well. Good Luck with your new toy.
