Al C. 1,428 #1 Posted December 1, 2016 (edited) I just finished tuning up my Troy Bilt snowblower for winter. The metal skids were just about worn through. Replaced them with a pair of Roller-Skids. Wow! What a difference. The machine rolls effortlessly on the concrete driveway. Can't wait to see how they work in the snow. Edited December 1, 2016 by Al C. Al C. 1,428 #3 Posted December 17, 2016 This is an update on my post about putting Roller-Skids on my Troy Bilt snowblower. I've used the snowblower twice. These things made a big difference! The machine moves with dramatically less effort. In fact, on the level stretch with two inches of snow, I am able to easily push the blower without engaging the wheels to remove the snow. This is much faster than the highest self propelled speed. The blower feels much lighter and is much more agile. I like it! Well worth the $40 investment.
