ACman 7,655 #1 Posted November 19, 2016 (edited) We all heard a strange noise last night as we were watching the horizontal rain blowing by the window . The lighting was intense and with each flash you could see the shingles lifting up on the barn and the trees in the fence row bending over . It wasn't until my daughter went out the garage and seen this . This was one of our favorite trees to take pictures with as well as the perfect shade/privacy tree for the parking area. ACman 7,655 #3 Posted November 19, 2016 No tornado , for some reason we get a lot of straight line winds through this area . When I was a kid my friends house not to far from here had the hole roof lifted off . It was in the field 300-400yards away and the weather authorities said it was straight line winds . Just this past summer a mile away there were many uprooted trees (two being huge oaks) all said to be from straight line winds . Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
