That sure takes some work out of burnin wood. :hide: Also makes things a bit safer over all the chainsaw cutting and then splitting the wood. Or even worse the old buzz saws that surly ate many a digit and limb. :D

Holy...CHit that is SWEET!!! - Different one, lil bit bigger, cooler splitter.

Not quite as cool but I ran across this over on MTF :

Overlook the Green & Yelller. I bet nick could whip something like this up for his FEL

That is awesome stuff. I burn about 4.5 chords a winter. That'd be nice. :hide:

Pretty neat as long as your dealing with smaller diameter logs and ones with

straight limbs/trunks.

I never get a chance at those kinds of trees. Most I deal with are huge

30" diameter and bigger. (the ones no one else wants to deal with :hide: )

Sure is safer then the one for the Wheel Horse, that hooked to the rear wheel.

Kelly,

Some things never change, I still cut most of my wood that way. I have a log splitter, but I don't take take it to the woods with me. I have to bust stuff into small enough chunks that I can lift it on the truck and then I split it at home.

Once in a while I get some nice splitting stuff and it's faster to just split it all with an axe out in the woods and be done with it.

Jim
