953 nut 60,220 #4 Posted October 18, 2016 @Aldon did an extensive post on his two GT-14 rebuilds, bet he has a photo. I can't say for sure, but i think I recall it being a regular threaded filling like a 5/16 bolt; been a few years since I was in there.
Aldon 4,828 #5 Posted October 18, 2016 (edited) The knob end of the lever on the last one I did was not threaded. I used a dremel to shape it and a die to thread it to add a knob. The end that attaches to the control valve is attached via a small cotter key. I'll look through my photo archive to see if I can find a detailed pic but I do not recall documenting it as my focus was on archiving the more difficult assemblies. ztnoo 2,300 #6 Posted October 18, 2016 I have that frame cover plate off watching what has been going on with a slow, but steady hydraulic leak coming from the control valve. The pics were no problema. Should give you a good idea of what you need to do and how it assembles.

Excellent pics Steve. we should consider adding links to stuff like this and the thread you did on axle hubs and woodruff keys to the GT14 restomod thread and make a one stop repository for GT14 seekers of knowledge. Sure seems to be enough on this model that a subforum topic might work.
