Earlier Chargers/Raider/Electros used the infamous pepper pot mufflers.  They were very noisy.  By 72 WH switches to a bigger muffler that had a pipe on the end that crossed over to the other side.

The muffler on my Charger plow tractor is what you  want.  (The muffler on my Electro blower tractor is not correct but is quieter than a pepper pot and was a lot cheaper than a correct one.)

Ok thank you. Are there different styles to this muffler? Would one from an early c120 or c 160 fit?

Actually I learned something here.  It would appear that the closest thing would be to get a C81 muffler and cut off most of the lead in pipe.  The canister and tail pipe are the same.

I know the canister on a C160 muffler is bigger around and when i put the 16 hp in my Electro 12 (Blower tractor0 it would not fit under the hood.

In the picture C160 on the left Charger in the middle C81 on the right
